What is RSS?
An RSS feed allows you to see when web sites have added new content without you having to visit the site to check yourself.
Student Broad Left now has an RSS feed for the front page.
How do I view RSS?
You need a news reader in order to view an RSS feed. In my opinion, the best way to do this is to use Mozilla Firefox as your web browser (instead of Internet Explorer). Firefox has a built in RSS reader which is easy to use. There are other RSS readers available, which you can find more information about by Googling RSS.
How do I view the Student Broad Left RSS feed in Firefox?
Simply click on the icon in the web address bar at the top of your browser window. When the RSS window opens, change the name to 'Student Broad Left' then click on 'ok'. The Student Broad Left RSS will then be available as a drop-down menu just below the address bar. Firefox will check for new items each time you open your browser so it will always be up to date.
